The research has dashed hopes that the ozone layer was on the mend. Since the winter of 1999-2000, when depletion was almost as bad, scientists had believed an improvement was under way as pollution was reduced. But they now believe it could be another 50 years before the problem is solved. [story]

FYI, we're back online at home, and I'm back at work. But too busy to do much surfing or blogging!

Sunday evening, and we're more or less packed and ready for the movers. They are scheduled to show up at 7am tomorrow AM. Our cable connection is supposed to be set up sometime on Tuesday. I'll post a note once I'm back on the grid.

If a vacation is like reformatting your brain, moving is reformatting your home. You backup the stuff you want to keep, throw out a bunch of stuff you haven't looked at since you last moved, fix up the new space, and dump your stuff back in.

We're going to relax this evening with a nice cozy before heading off to bed. We deserve it!
